10 Best English Shayari On Daffodils

For often, when on my couch I lie,
In vacant or in pensive mood,
You flash upon my inward eye,
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances like the daffodils.

My love letters are buried,
Deep in the woody woods,
Under the roots of daffodils;
I wish, you would plunk them,
When the spring blooms.

I wandered lonely as a cloud,
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine,
And twinkle in the milky way,
Daffodils stretched in never ending line,
Along the margin of a Bay.
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

Daffodils bright and yellow,
As if they turned towards me,
To say hello.
They were ultimate cuties,
They were mesmerizing beauties.
They were ornamenting earth like,
Bunch of precious gem,
I simply fell in love with them.

O! Gentle shower rain,
Come down from the clouds in plains.
Flow sweetly through the hills,
Singing along with daffodils.

Ceasing of cold winds,
And arrivals of spring in the hills,
Here blooms the dreamy daffodils.
Turning the whole valley,
Into white and yellow,
They welcomed the spring,
With their magical mellow.

I wander what spendthrift chose to spill,
Such a bright gold under my windowsill!
Is it fair gold? Does it glitter still?
Oh my! Its a daffodil!

It is not raining to me,
It’s raining daffodils;
In every dimpled drop I see,
Wild flowers on distant hills.

Today is the day when daffodils bloom,
Which children pick to fill the room.
Today is the day when grasses green,
When leaves burst forth for spring to be seen.
